Laser Grading is an engineered process of creating near perfect slopes on Athletic fields, Horse Arenas, and Slab-On-Grade projects utilizing top quality Laser Grading equipment. The Laser Grader is a hydraulically actuated grader which performs the highest degree of tolerance (+/- 1/8”) on any given slope. For this reason Southeast Laser Grading LLC only uses this type of manufactured equipment. No other laser grading equipment can come close to the quality or performance of the Laser Grader.

How it works
A transmitter (with dual slope or cone configuration) is set up on a tripod at any given point on the field. We set the desired slope and transmit that slope across the field.

The Laser Grader receivers (mounted on the moldboard blade posts) receive the signal and send the signal to the onboard computer. The onboard computer actuates the hydraulics to the moldboard blade and automatically adjusts the blade to the transmitted slope. This is why the degree of accuracy is so precise with the Laser Grader, it’s all automated. The Laser Grader is also able to grade up to fences and walls thus making this equipment more suitable for existing athletic fields and horse arenas.

How Laser Grading Should Be Used:
Laser Grading should always be considered when building new athletic fields and horse arenas or renovating old ones. Laser Grading helps to ensure proper run off of rains and allows the fields or horse arenas to dry off quickly for immediate use again.

Who can afford waste? Laser Grading helps to eliminate material waste by accurately grading the proper depth of materials on your new field or horse arena. Laser Grading also saves contractors with slab-on-grade projects by reducing concrete over run. You just can’t go wrong using Southeast Laser Grading.
